All wedding packages include a complimentary one hour engagement photo session and unlimited consultations with me in person or over the phone. 2-4 weeks before your wedding we will finalize your wedding day timeline and go over a list of formal family photos and any other photo requests you may have.

FAQs
We are based in Albuquerque, New Mexico and yes we love to travel! Travel fees are $1 per mile of driving outside of a 30 mile radius of Albuquerque and/or a round trip flight, plus a rental car if needed.
That's totally okay! Whether it's one of the many spots I have found over the years, or a new place that I will have to scout, I can give you recommendations for the perfect location. Before your photo shoot, think about whether you want an urban look or something rural like a nature setting. New Mexico is incredibly diverse: from the dry dessert, to the Rio Grande, or up in the mountains, there are so many places to choose from. Not from the area? Check out my portfolio page to see the different areas that I like to shoot at.
If we travel to a new place, I will make sure to scout out the setting that you might have in your head.
During the editing process, I will cull all of the photos and choose the very best. This means eyes open, the best angles, in focus, but I include the out of focus artsy ones too. For portrait sessions, you will receive 50-75 photos per hour of shooting. If you schedule a shorter portrait session or mini session you will receive a minimum of 20 photos for a 15 minute mini session and 30-50 photos for a 30 minute session. Weddings include 50-75 photos per hour of coverage.
We do our very best to ask all of the video related questions during consultations before your event. This includes many aspects of videography that we can cover to create a full video for you, including the song selection. Ultimately it is important to give Josh creative freedom and let his artistic capabilities shine. If your request is within reason, we may try to make edits, but it is up to our discretion to accept any edit requests.
During consultations Josh will ask you to provide us a list or playlist of your favorite AND least favorite songs. While editing he will choose a song or songs that best match the theme or vibe of the day. Josh can use any songs available on Music Bed to buy song rights. This excludes trendy or popular songs that you might want in your video (think Taylor Swift or Beyonce). Song rights to popular artists can cost thousands of dollars.
We do have an overtime charge on top of our hourly rate. If it’s possible for us to stay longer we will send an invoice to you by the following day. It is ultimately up to us to decide if we want to or can stay longer. Once the payment is received we will begin editing. If payment is not received after three days there will be a late fee of $25 applied each day after.
My husband and I met Meg at the ABQ wedding expo in 2022 and we both immediately liked her. She and her partner Josh both are nice and easy to chat with-especially during a photo shoot! Meg took both our engagement photos and day of photos, and she was extremely amazing to work with. The engagement shoot was a little out of town, but she was up for the adventure. The fall pictures in the mountains came out exactly as we had imagined. Between the engagement photos and wedding day, Meg communicated regularly, set up a planning meeting for the wedding, and gave great tips and recommendations that ultimately lead to the wedding day going smooth and as planned. Throughout the whole day, Meg and Josh stayed on-time, communicated with the wedding party well, and felt like a great addition to our day. As the bride, I never once felt out of the loop, and Meg and Josh kept us all laughing. Our pictures came out beautiful and they captured the feeling of love and family perfectly. The return time of photos was great too! Once all the photos had been sent to us, then Meg worked with us to create our album and she was so flexible and the quality of all came out wonderful.
